This is such a fun one! Fresh Produce is some pictures from fruits and vegetables cut out from a seed catalog with PNW produce in it. Then I added tissue paper to make a basket and put it on the top of a ladies head so she is carrying it. Since I started feeding the local crows in my neighborhood when I go on walks, I thought it’d be funny to paint two crows and cut them out and add them eating the food from the basket as crows do. And so this super textured mixed media piece came to life and I love how it turned out! Silly and fun, and definitely textured.
