This is a fun piece with strong colors I painted live. I did it alongside my friend Cousin Antoine as he was playing music at the Proctors Farmers Market in the Spring of 2025. Was a little cloudy that day, but got a few peeks of sunshine throughout the day. Was great chatting with passersby’s as I did this negative space painting. I started with blotches of yellow, green, and blue and then pulled out the hair and features from the blotches of paint. It was a fun piece on a fun day! Then I took it back to the studio and framed it and added some more female figures from old newspaper catalogs. The final touches really help make this piece! Unique and quirky addition to any home.
