This is number 17 in my series “22” My last name from my Dads side is Micke, pronounced Mickey like Mickey Mouse. Throughout childhood I had countless Mickey Mouse shirts, had people sing to us “Oh Mickey you’re so fine..” and Mickey and Minnie were even at my parents wedding! As someone who makes artwork from nostalgia, this series has a special place in my heart. Mickey and Minnie have been bringing smiles to kiddos and adults for YEARS, what’s not to love about them?
